Description
Ozark Guidance is seeking a Regional Prevention Provider Representative.  This position will assist in coordination and implementation of orientation for new personnel, will provide training as requested to other clinical team members, and will participate in community awareness events supporting persons served or partner agencies.  The position also serves as the liaison to local alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention coalitions and provides technical assistance, grant support, and the resources available from the Regional Prevention Provider.  The Representation will attend or facilitate community meetings which promote or discuss prevention activities in the region.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, and critical thinking skills are required, as well as the ability to work on a self-directed team.
A bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a health-related field, or at least two years of experience in prevention-related areas is required.  The candidate must be a Certified Prevention Specialist/Consultant or be eligible to be certified.
Reliable transportation is required, as travel within Northwest Arkansas is expected. Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  No phone calls please.
